hunting game the hobby the passion |
Trail cameras have become one of the standard tools used by hunters who are going after deer and other large game. With a reliable trail cam, you can scout out game on your hunting grounds all year round, and learn where the game are - and just as importantly, where they aren't. Game cameras can give you loads of valuable information about the animals on your territory - the size of the herd, the health and age of bucks, the places where they commonly roam and more. Wisely used, a scouting camera can even let you identify and select that one big buck you want to take down - months ahead of time! Even if you don't settle on a particular target, you can still get a much better idea of what kind of deer are out there and where you're likely to find them. Don't go into the woods blind - a digital trail camera gives you a competitive advantage over game.
The basic Trail Camera combines a digital camera with a motion sensor, along with a weatherproof housing and a means to mount the camera to a tree or post. Some scout cameras operate only by daylight, while others use infrared sensing or a flash to product nighttime images - particularly useful since that's when bucks tend to be on the move. The technology behind game cameras has evolved rapidly in recent years, resulting in reduced size and cost that makes a trail camera easily affordable for just about any deer hunter. Large storage cards and high-capacity camera sensors let the camera gather high-quality images, and large-capacity storage cards and long-life batteries mean that you can leave a modern trail camera in the woods for a long time. Keep a spare set of batteries and storage cards on hand, and you can leave the game trail camera in the woods and operational all year long - just switch out one set for the other. We even sell field viewers which let you check the camera's captured images right on the spot - so you can make wise choices about where to move your trailcam next.
With the increasing popularity of trail cams, the images have become as much of a sport as the hunt itself. You'll be amazed at what you can see with a game scouting camera - images of deer in their natural habitat, and a multitude of other animals that you might not even realize were out there. The trail camera reveals it all, from roaming brown bears to foraging racoons in the night.
If you are looking to buy a trail camera, you've arrived at the right place - we have them all! We offer free shipping on all trail cameras over $29.95. If you have questions on any of our game cameras, please do not hesitate to pick up the phone or simply send us an email or chat message, we are here to help you in anyway we are able to! Are you seeking out the perfect

The Trail Sentry 2.1 is one of Bushnell’s entry level trail camera models. The trigger speeds are some the fastest on the market for the price range with times around 1 second. Bushnell also boast of great battery life with this trail camera. The PIR has a range of up to 45 feet but the flash is limited to around 15 feet. There is a LED that is activated when motion is sensed that can help in setting up and aligning the camera. For security a software password system has been implemented.
FeaturesThe Bushnell Trail Scout 3.0 can monitor the deer on your lease without making a sound or leaving behind any human scent. With an extremely fast trigger speed the game camera can be placed over food plots or active game trails. With the trigger being controlled by a PIR that can sense movement up to 90 feet away there is no way a big buck can pass in front of the Bushnell Trail Scout 3.0 without being captured.

The Camtrakker Digital 6.0 is built with a Sony Cybershot DSC-W30 digital
camera. This trail camera will produce amazing sharp 6 megapixel images
thanks to the Sony camera. This camera may also be removed from the case
and used around your home. The PIR detects motion in heat and then
activates the camera. There is an external LED that will flash red when
the PIR is tripped. This light is a huge help when setting up the game
camera. This same light will provide a solid green light that indicates
the unit is on and ready to take pictures. This Camtrakker comes with 2
rechargeable nickel metal hydride that power the strobe flash and the camera.
The strobe flash will work great out to distances of 45 feet. Another plus
with the unit is an external power switch. At this time not many game
cameras being built with an external switch and this is a huge bonus when
setting up the unit.
Features:

The Cuddeback™ line of trail cameras is manufactured by Non-Typical Incorporated out of Park Falls, WI. Sub second trigger speed is the most well known attribute of these units. Trigger speeds are advertised as .75 seconds but end up closer to 1 second in most individual testing. This reaction time from the moment the PIR is triggered until the shutter is activated is very good. This allows the units to be used as an actual "trail" camera instead of a bait station camera. If the photo can not be taken quickly enough then the hunter ends up with a memory card full of pictures of trees. Cuddeback has also introduced Battery Wise Technology which will allow hunters to place cameras in remote locations for up to 6 months without needing to change the batteries. Battery life is of course directly dependent on the capacity of the Compact Flash memory. The 6 months of battery life is meaningless if the owner of the unit has only equipped it with a 64meg card. Cuddeback was also one of the first companies to develop and engineer a camera specifically for use as a trail camera. This advance came when most digital trail camera companies were developing cameras based on current point-and-shoot models. By building there units from the ground up, Cuddeback has been able to add all the features that sportsman are looking for. The engineering team have also made many attempts at securing the trail cameras. Cuddeback Security Theftstop Plus™ system is actually making it a little tougher for theives to steal and then use the units. The system consist of a screw that anchors the unit to the tree and is only accessible after unlocking a padlock and opening the case. The padlock shackle is protected by the case so it is much harder to cut the padlock. If the thief can get past these defenses then they must enter a password to operate the camera
The Leaf River Trail Scan digital trail camera with viewing screen* gives the user instant feedback in the field. You no longer have to wait till you have access to a computer with the 1.6 inch LCD screen. Select low, medium or high resolution settings: low is 1.3 megapixel, medium is 2.1 megapixel and high gives you a possible 4-megapixel resolution with the use of software interpolation. If you choose the video setting the game camera can shoot up to 90 seconds of video when the PIR is activated. The PIR is unique in the fact that it has 5 early detection zones. This allows the camera to be triggered right when the animal is entering the shot window of the trail camera. You also have the choice of sacrificing a little trigger speed and selecting the extended battery life mode for setting up the camera in those really remote areas.
Features:
*The standard version does not include the viewing screen
**both the standard and view screen versions will be reviewed in the same
section
The Leaf River DC-6SS trail camera is built around
one of the highest resolution cameras on the market. Equipped
with an incredible 6.3 megapixel digital camera the pictures are sure to be
clear and crisp. Viewing and zooming in on the pictures in
the field is easy with the onboard 2.4 inch viewing screen. Shoot
color video clips from 3 to 90 seconds during the day, and an enhanced
long-range flash captures quality stills at night. The early
detection PIR sensor has five detection zones to trigger the camera just after
game enters the picture window, increasing the time for the camera to respond.
There is also a quick shot mode that enables the Leaf River DC-6SS trail
camera to capture 2 to 3 images per PIR trigger.
